We NIAMS (National Institute of Alternative Medicine Systems) have got Appreciation Letter from the Karnataka CM (Sidharamayya) just last week.

KSOU MAc Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility to join MAc- MD Acu from OIUCM, Colombo or- any other Graduate Medical Degree (MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BNYS etc) with diploma in Acupuncture / Acupressure.- BAc 3 years completion of KSOU. (We even accept BAc of IBAM or any previous study program based on a written exam)
Details for MD (Acu) - (issued by OIUCM, Colombo, Sri Lanka)
The MD (Acu) or MD (AM) is a Distance mode education program forGraduates, Medical Undergraduates, Physiotherapists, BAMS, BHMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS, BDS Doctors and any other Practitioner with Enlistment or Registration under any Medical Council in India. The eligibility for overseas candidates should be at least a graduation level.Physiotherapists and UG Physios can also apply.
On completion, if any MD Acu candidate needs to migrate to any country outside India, We can prepare the Transcript for them to enable their registration abroad as Acupuncturists.
Those already possessing MD (Acu) will be eligible to join our M.Ac program of KSOU University for a Prestigious Course on Acupuncture.
The fees for the course is 1500USD for overseas candidates. Rs. 50000 for Indian candidates.
There will be 4 exams and they have to be written and sent through mail or post after completion of 12 months of the program.
Lessons will be sent to you as attachments, and study material will be sent to your mailbox or physical address and you can download the attachment links. we provide you the Study materials.
Online or offline exam will be conducted for intermediate evaluation at intervals - depending on the student's interaction and availability on-line.
