Hi Raj, University of Salford is ranked at 88 by Times higher education ranking. As you have not specified any course or department, it is difficult to give any further details. But you can do the assessment yourself by finding out the following. look for the TQA rating for the department or specifically for the course that you are interested in. If it is not available on the website or on the brochure, e mail the department and ask them for it. TQA is teaching quality assessment, rating given for teaching to educational institutes in the UK.

Hi Raj, Project MAnagement is a good subject. What matters is the subjects that are offered during the course. Do take a look at those and if you are satisfied then go ahead. The placement that is being offered is a paid placement, and you will be paid during this as well as you will have to pay extra along with your tuition fee if you want to take it up. If it is a matter of few thousand pounds then I suggest go ahead with the placement, as this will give you a very good opportunity to understand what you have learned. Who knows you might be absorbed if your performance is good. Additionally, if you come back with international experi

Hi Ishan, when an application is assessed then marks are not the only thing taken into consideration but also the other documents submitted. The Universities have already started sending out offers to successful applicants so wait for some more time as you have waited all this while. Nobody but only the University can assure you of the admission.
Good Luck

Hi Sai Kiran,
Please don't go by what your friends say, as every University is different and so is it's Placement procedure so what holds true for one University may not be correct for the other. And percentage is only one of the criteria, at the placement time what would matter the most is that how you perform on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of job placements.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.
Thanks,
Pooja
