I would suggest you to concentrate on your back papers first and if you want to pursue anything after your B.Tech start preparing for that and use your time well. Courses in Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems and Industrial Automation, that can be done after you complete your B.Tech. Also you can apply for gate and go for iits, nits or for some central universities and start preparing for them.
