Every university has its own course specific eligibility criteria for admission, in order to know the exact eligibility criteria it would be always advisable to browse through the university's website you wish to apply.
Overall, in order to pursue masters degree from universities in US you need to have:
Good academic record, preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation.
Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
GRE score of 300-320 plus.
TOEFL score of 80-100 plus.
An average tuition fee of a US university is about US$ 30,000 per-year and average living expenses are about US$ 10,000 per-year, the tuition fee and living expenses might be more or less depending on the university and location.
Universities in US have 2 admission intakes in a year namely:
Fall (August) intake.
Spring (January) Intake.
So, it is always advisable to take GRE and TOEFL test atleast 8-9 months in advance of your planned admission intake.
