For you, I would say that marks really don't matter to judge your intelligence, but coming to the admission section it really matters a lot. Now, since you have got 60%, I am guessing that you are a CBSE board student. Sorry to say, but if you are hoping for top government colleges, you may need to face some disappointment. You can get admission in a private college very easily (of good reputation).

According to me, we cannot tell whether you will get a seat with this rank or not, but in the counselling process, you may apply for that university and the college will take you according to ICET rank and according to the reservation criteria.
