No, you just need to have pass class 12th board exams with a decent score, and also the NIFT entrance exam. You can check the eligibility details below:
For B. Design programme:
1) Candidates should have passed in 10+2 qualifying examination from a recognized state or national board of education
2) Candidates passed from public University/ School/ Board examination in India or Foreign countries must be recognized under Association of Indian Universities as per 10+2 pattern of education
3) Candidates must have studied a minimum of five main subjects under National Open School Examination
4) Candidates holding Diploma under 10+3
