There are 6 faculties at Purvanchal University. Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University offers various courses at UG, PG, and Diploma levels in full-time mode. These programmes are offered under 6 faculties, admission to some of the courses is based on the university-conducted entrance exam, namely Purvanchal University Combined Admission Test PUCAT admission to remaining courses are conducted through national-level entrance exams, including JEE Main UPCET etc. For all of its courses, Purvanchal University uses the same application procedure. To apply for admission, interested and qualified individuals must register online at the VBSPU website. Candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria of these courses to get admission to it. The duration of these courses ranges from 2 to 6 years.

VBSPU Jaunpur campus is spread across 171.5-acre land. All the facilities offered to the students at the university provide them with a safe and comfortable environment to study. The university campus offers many facilities to the students admitted to any UG or PG courses. Some of them are:

Hostels: There are four hostels for male students at the institution. The VBSPU hostels have amenities such as a dining hall, gym, study area, leisure room, and students' mess. The head warden is in charge of safeguarding the safety and security of students, and students are expected to abide by the laws and regulations of the hostels. There are two different hostels for females at the college. Each room may accommodate two or three people, and each student has access to a cot, a cabinet, a study table, and a chair. Every VBSPU hostel is well-equipped with all the amenities, including internet access, recreational amenities, a gym, common areas, etc.

Library: The university library is well-stocked with academic journals, newspapers, government publications, press clippings, and reference materials including dictionaries, atlases, yearbooks, encyclopaedias, and directories, among other materials. Sports: The institution features a sizable open stadium that can hold thousands of people and has hosted several university sporting events. The university offers basic facilities for conducting sports, NSS, rovers and rangers programmes.

The Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University library is well-stocked with academic journals, newspapers, government publications, press clippings, and reference materials, including dictionaries, atlases, yearbooks, encyclopaedias, and directories, among other things. The Library premises are under CCTV surveillance to control unethical incidents. The library has Wi-Fi connectivity to provide Internet as well as e-Resource facilities to its users even after closing the library. VBSPU Jaunpur houses a central library that comprises 1.12 lakh books, 318 professional Indian and foreign journals and magazines, 557 back volumes of journals, 10,211 PhD theses, 760 CDS 12 Newspapers, 216 government publications, press clippings, etc. The library also has a rich collection of reference books including, encyclopedias, dictionaries, yearbooks, directories, etc.
