No Its not like that , The entire education system is based on competition . If you are pursuing from Ignou Carry on with your education score well and take up some Courses as per your areas of study . And you can also prepare for GATE with a better percentile You can get in to IITs or IISc

In order to pursue Phd, you need to first of all make list of universities that you aspire for, then send emails to respective course department, asking them to provide you the eligibility criteria and selection procedure for PHD students.
It may take three to six years to complete your PHD, depending on the field you select and your mentor.

Hi Chirag, to enter into CAmbridge univ for MBA, you should have managerial or supervisory work experience of at least 3 yrs. Executive level of work experience is not considered. Additionally, you will also need to appear for GMAT and IELTS or TOEFL. Although the minimum expectation of GMAT is 640, the higher score will give you an edge. IELTS should be minimum 7.5 with no band less than 7.0. or TOEFL with a minimum of 110.
The fee is GBP 36,000 and the college membership fee is GBP 2289.
