The BE mechanical engineering programme is accredited by the engineering accreditation commission of ABET. The department has aligned its curriculum with that of Trinity College Dublin (University of Dublin, Ireland) as part of the academic collaboration to impart global standard education to the students.
Only handful of colleges throughout India hold this Accreditation.
If you go back to history, B.E Mechanical Engineering in TU was considered the best in terms of facilities, faculty, and placements and this continues till today.

We couldn't tell one their exact situation unless we know their state and category rank on account of reservation in national law schools.

PGDM and MBA are same, the only different is institutions affiliated to universities offer PGDM and universities offer MBA.
There are different ways of admission in MBA. Some institutes prefer CAT/XAT/ MAT scores only for admission to MBA course. And to appear for CAT/XAT/MAT etc student needs to have 50% in graduation. But eligibility criteria varies for various Management Institutes or Universities, they can take different %age in graduation along with CAT/ MAT/ XAT scores.

In case you did not give GATE,CAT, MAT, etc, then you should try for admission in private universities like LPU, SMU, SRM, etc. Some of them will give you direct admission on the basis of your previous qualification and some on the basis of their own tests. Most private universities these days are at par with govt.ones and offer equally goo
