Let me correct you its BE mechanical engineering not B.Tech in Thapar University.
The BE mechanical engineering programme is accredited by the engineering accreditation commission of ABET. The department has aligned its curriculum with that of Trinity College Dublin (University of Dublin, Ireland) as part of the academic collaboration to impart global standard education to the students.
Only handful of colleges throughout India hold this Accreditation.
If you go back to history, B.E Mechanical Engineering in TU was considered the best in terms of facilities, faculty, and placements and this continues till today.

The level of CLAT 2016 was easy. In general, people have scored well, which means cut-offs will be way higher than last years CLAT.
We couldn't tell one their exact situation unless we know their state and category rank on account of reservation in national law schools.
However I can still produce cut-off list prepared by team of CL CLAT experts( CL is one of the largest coaching centre for CLAT and other exams)

There are only 480 seats combining all the 4 government colleges. And seats that are reserved for SC /ST /OBC are near about 110.
So the chances are little.
But you must attend the counseling, It completely depends on how many people are SC/ST/OBC above your rank.

Heena, your query is not clear. Hope it is that you are interested undoing the above mentioned course.
PGDM and MBA are same, the only different is institutions affiliated to universities offer PGDM and universities offer MBA.
There are different ways of admission in MBA. Some institutes prefer CAT/XAT/ MAT scores only for admission to MBA course. And to appear for CAT/XAT/MAT etc student needs to have 50% in graduation. But eligibility criteria varies for various Management Institutes or Universities, they can take different %age in graduation along with CAT/ MAT/ XAT scores.

Shadab, both are equally good but then if you are inclined towards teaching or technical aspects you should go for M.Tech. Otherwise you should go for MBA as it will help you climb up the managerial ladder and go up in your career. Most of the top positions in companies are managerial and demand MBA.
In case you did not give GATE,CAT, MAT, etc, then you should try for admission in private universities like LPU, SMU, SRM, etc. Some of them will give you direct admission on the basis of your previous qualification and some on the basis of their own tests. You can go for paramedical courses like Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Ayurveda, etc.
Other than science stream, you can have a career in Journalism, Film and TV production, Management, Hotel Management, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Physical Education, Yoga, etc too.

Hi, any good university such as the University of British Columbia, University of Western, etc. would require 2-3 years of work experience. If you want to apply without work experience please look for PG Diploma or MS management programmes.
