BCA from IGNOU is not useless you can appear in entrance test for MCA and can complete your MCA as regular course or can appear in CAT/MAT for MBA this will make your profile better

So, you can enroll in any university for further studies after completing your course from IGNOU. To pursue a carer in Merchant Navy, the minimum educational qualification required is 12th with Science stream (with Maths) but to know the complete information you may refer to the following links:

And in general, choosing a career would entirely depend on your interest and career aspirations. As per your given information you are doing a Hardware and Networking course and this is entirely different to the Merchant Navy and is completely incomparable.

There is a gap of almost 7 years in a normal graduate & you. Now what is the reason for planning MBA!! Please specify your location. Generally you could do a DLP sitting at any place through SCDL(Symbiosis). Check out website www.scdl.net for details

Are you XII passout! Bare minimum qualification desired for you to become eligible for Btech is 12th with min.60% agreegate in general and 55% in other catagories. You have to apply through IIT JEE. Check out the website http://jee.iitd.ac.in/eligibility.htm for all the further information
