If you are interested in Architecture, please pursue the same. You will need to submit a portfolio along with your academic scores while applying for this course. Regarding income, it does pay good but not initially as Architecture requires some practice under an existing one before you start on your own. Coming to costs, it is less if you do the same in India.

Do something in which you are truly interested. Did you enjoy what you did in B.Tech? If yes, by all means you should pursue M.Tech because you will always excel in what you enjoy.
