CLAT Exam contains only five sections I. e. General Knowledge, Mathematics, Current Affair, Comprehension and Logical Reasoning. As per the CLAT Exam Pattern, a candidate has to attempt 120 questions with time duration of 120 minutes. For every correct answer, the candidate will get 1 mark while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. CLAT entrance exam will be objective in nature. Hi Divyanshu, pathway programs can be treated as bridging programs which can be done to bridge the gap between some requirements required to pursue a particular programme. If you don't meet some admission requirements then you can do some pathway programs, complete the necessary framework and be eligible for further studies. They are very popular in Australia, New Zealand and also in Canada. Generally colleges which offer pathway programs have tie-ups with certain universities, you have to check these details when you sign up for a pathway programme like which university you can apply to and what all assistance the programme or college offering the pathway will offer you in terms of education and career. Pathway programs are generally designed for international students, normally are less expensive and good option.

The exam is of 120 minutes i.e. two hours duration. It carries 450 marks containing 150 multiple-choice questions. The questions are based on General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Human Health, History, Indian cultural heritage with special focus on major currents in Indian Thoughts, General Awareness Basic knowledge of Plants & Animals, Production of Food & Raw Materials, Environment & its Pollution, Human Body, Common Diseases, Population Explosion, Solar System, Climate & Weather, Natural Resources of Industry, literature and art.
The exam includes two sets of multiple choice questions (MCQs) on Language comprehension, in Hindi and English, where the candidate is required to answer anyone, Hindi language set or English language set but he/she cannot do both.
