Hello VP Reddy,
In India, there are plenty of good colleges offering Aeronautical Engineering branch. But, I am afraid the situation of Placements is not all that rosy for students of this branch. As per one report, majority end up doing MBA, some go abroad for MS and only handful get placed. I would therefore like to advise you that please think over it once again, discuss with friends & family and then only take decision to go for this branch. https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/ranking/top-aeronautical-engineering-colleges-in-india/49-2-0-0-0
Best wishes to you.

Hello Kushal,
Yes, of course. Doing graduation in mechanical engineering will give you a very good perspective for future specialization in automobile engineering. In fact in the beginning, automobile engineering was considered as a sub branch of mechanical engineering. In the years to come automobiles are going to continue to be the mainstay of indicator of the country's industrialization and the chances are all the companies in India are going to spend more and more on this area in this automobile field, increasing chances of students to get placed and go big way in their career.
