The details for selection process are as follows :
Admissions would be conducted on the basis of common entrance test scores of CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ MHCET/ CMAT/ GMAT/ ATMA. GD-PI will be conducted by the Institute. Suitable weightage will be given to past academic record and work experience.

31 percentile in MAT will only fetch you colleges that are really below in the rankings. So, my advise would be to prepare once more and score more marks. In this way you will have a better chance of enrolling in top colleges and since MAT is offered 4 times in a year, you don't have to wait long for appearing again in the examination. All the best.
