Please mention the course you are looking for in lateral entry. If you are looking for B.Tech, then B.Tech/BE through lateral entry (direct second year admission) will be best for you, you have to appear for LEET examination to get a good college.

Your percentile is very good and you have around 90% chances of getting into NIT-Nagpur, but
The final AIR will be declared after April 2019 considering the best score out of the two JEE Main attempts for all the applicants, hence based on current percentile we cannot say with surety whether you will qualify or not. Wait for the final AIR declaration.

Yes, you can surely do BA after completing 10+2 with Science or commerce stream.
There are a lot of subjects which are related to commerce like- economics, etc. And Science like- psychology, statistics etc. And many other subjects which are really very useful for job and society
BT if talk about society and the stereotype of public about BA
They thinks if anybody is pursuing B.A. He/she will study the subject like philosophy, home Science and literature etc. They thinks that a Student of B.A. Is practically useless

What exam have you appeared for? Everything though is measured in the terms of percentile. Still, you can calculate it by = (marks scored/ total marks) *100

Yes, preparing for the NIFT entrance exam can certainly help in preparing for the LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) for Fashion Design.

It is not mandatory to appear in NIFT, you can also appear in LPUNEST exam further to take admission in LPU.
