Hi Surya, In some cases integrated (or )dual courses are best . Say B.SC Ed( if you want to become a teacher) Integrated electronics, M.Sc Tech are some of the courses that are very much in demand these days. To tell you which course and which college you may have to tell us from where you are and what are the uni's you have in mind.

True than better you merge your subject choice with your syllabus and go depth for it and after 7th sem solve the GATE paper and appear with full preparation

Naazneen, does NICS mean National Institute of Computational Sciences? Well, after writing IAS exam (probably Prelims), I supose you should start preparing for the Mains if you are quite confident of getting through the Prelims. You must also sit for state PSC exams as they do nto require any separate kind of preparation. This will also help you to study for the Mains of not even UPSC exam but for the state PSC's as well.
