These both are different fields and have different needs. An engineer should be a intelligent person with great logical reasoning.You must have a interest in physics,chemistry and maths if you are going for engineering. But on the other hand hotel management is about how your looks are how is your communication skills and how. is your general knowledge. Marks does not matter in this field. Yes, if u r talking about reputed colleges, academic records play a vital role. Besides good percentile in cat, gd/pi round, work experience (not mandatory) also have some advantages. IIMs give more weightage to academic records. All the best. Thank you

With a rank of 58000 you can secure admission, however it is difficulty to say that you will get the top course. The SRM cutoff through SRMJEEE varies each year and depends on several factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the availability of seats in different programs.

please search on Google for MHA. There are many institutions offering MHA in India and abroad. You should also consider MBA in Health Management or Masters of Public Health. The IIHMR group of institutes offers such courses, you can visit their website www.iihmr.org.
