Hello Snigdha
The government or private colleges you would have to be very clear in terms of your knowledge and intellect. You have to focus upon few things - prepare a good command over language (English and Hindi build a strong vocabulary, be habitual of reading the newspaper daily, scroll the history like of printing, press, media and focus upon current affairs. What is generally asked in exams is related to language (to check how fluent and good you are), general knowledge (try to read all the facts that are existing from past years as these are generally asked like about games, Olympics, International Relations, Rig Veda, Sam Veda

Hi buddy,
I hope you are doing good. Going through your questio, you wrote you got zero in JEE. I would like to tell you that it is really difficult to get good college using these marks. You search for some colleges who accept the zero mark. If you don't get good college and still want to go fro Engineering rather than applying for low level criteria college. I recommend you to go for Polytechnic which is a Diploma course.

Yes, of course the practical is a must. For admission in University of Agriculture Sciences, you have to clear the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Fulfillment of eligibility criteria is a must for the application for entrance. After that candidates meeting the cutoff have to appear for KCET counselling, conducted by KEA and select UAS Bangalore.
