Also you need to wait till the last round of the counselling process. At the same time, if you want to be in the safer side, apply for some other colleges also.

Hello Vivek, To secure admission at IITs, you need to clear JEE Advanced with a good score for which you can appear only after clearing JEE Mains. Hence, if you have a good rank in JEE Advanced you can get a good IIT. With JEE Mains score, you can only apply for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs through JoSAA counseling.
