To qualify UGC NET exam, candidates need to meet the basic eligibility criteria and the selection conditions. The minimum eligibility criteria for general category students is to secure atleast 40% aggregate marks in Paper I and Paper II combined. Along with this, candidates also need to obtain minimum marks in each paper (Paper I and Paper II) as well as aggregate marks in the specific subject. The top 6% of the total candidates who have appeared in both the exam and are NET qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only. The basic education qualification for appearing for UGC NET exam is that candidates must have completed a master's degree with 55% marks from a recognised university.

Before applying for the TSTET exam, candidates should ensure that they possess the prescribed TSTET eligibility criteria in terms of educational qualifications and age limit. The TSTET eligibility criteria differ for Paper 1 and Paper 2 as mentioned below:

TSTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 1 (Classes 1 to 5)-

• Candidates applying for Paper 1 should fulfil either of the criteria mentioned below in order to meet the TS TET eligibility criteria.
• Senior Secondary with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ ST/OBC/ Differently abled candidates) and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) OR Senior Secondary with at least 45 per cent marks (40 per cent for SC/ ST/OBC/ Differently-abled candidates) and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to DElEd/ DEd course prior to the issue of guidelines (23-Dec-2015) OR Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ ST/OBC/ Differently abled candidates) and pass in Bachelor of Education (BEd)/ Bachelor of Education (Special Education)

TSTET Eligibility Criteria for Paper 2 (Classes 6 to 8)-

• Candidates applying for Paper 2 should fulfil either of the criteria mentioned below in order to meet the TS TET eligibility criteria.
• BA/BSc/BCom with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled candidates) and pass in Bachelor of Education (BEd)/ Bachelor of Education (BEd Special Education) OR BA/BSc/BCom with at least 50 per cent marks (40 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled candidates) and pass in Bachelor of Education (BEd)/ Bachelor of Education (BEd Special Education) in case of the candidates who have passed or admitted to BEd prior to the issue of guidelines (23-Dec-2015) OR 4-year BAEd/ BScEd with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled candidates) OR For Language Teachers, Graduation with the language concerned as one of the optional subjects OR Bachelor of Oriental language OR Graduation in literature OR Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ BEd with language concerned as one of the Methodologies OR BE/ BTech with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Differently abled candidates) and passed or appearing in Bachelor of Education (BEd) or BEd (Special Education)

Aspirants applying for the Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test need to apply on the official website of TSTET. The mode of application is online only. Below mentioned is a detailed procedure to fill out the TSTET application form:

• Visit the official website of TSTET
• Click on the link Apply online
• Pay the TSTET registration fees through any online payment gateway
• Fill in the details like mobile number, name, date of birth, etc.
• Keep the transaction ID that will be received after completion of the application fee payment
• A provisional registration number and password will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidate.
• On successful registration, log in using the registration number and password
• Fill in the application form giving out the personal details, contact details, and educational qualifications
• Select the option for Paper-I or Paper-II or both
• Upload the scanned copies of the photograph, signature, and required documents
• Submit the application form.

If you find that any answer in the UGC NET answer key is wrong, you can inform NTA about it.

First, go to the official UGC NET website. There, you'll find a highlighted tab of "Challenge Answer Key". Click on the tab. A login window will open, and log in using your application number and password.

Once logged in, choose your exam and find the question you think has the wrong answer. To challenge that answer, you'll need to upload some proof like a book page or an explanation by professor. Also, write why you think the answer is wrong.

When you challenge any question, you have to pay a small fee of ₹200 for each question. This is called a processing fee. You can pay using a debit card, a credit card, net banking, or UPI on the payment portal of NTA. Remember, NTA doesn't return the money, even if they agree with you. Once everything is ready, just submit it.

One more thing, you can only do this on dates for the answer key challenge will be mentioned in the notification.

The Department of School Education, the Government of Telangana, will soon invite online applications from candidates who want to appear for the TSTET or TGTET 2025 (II) exam. The TSTET application process comprises various stages such as payment of fee, filling of the application form and uploading of documents. The Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) is conducted by the Telangana State Board of Secondary Education (TSBSE) to evaluate the eligibility of candidates for the appointment of teachers in primary and upper primary schools in the state of Telangana, India. The exam is typically conducted once a year in various centers across the state. 

The TS TET Application Form for June 2025 session was released on April 15, 2025. The last date to apply online was April 30, 2025.
