If you belong to any category other than general, you have some chances to be selected for CSE or IT in HBTU with 40k rank in JEE Mains1. It states that it will be very difficult for you to get CSE in good colleges if you belong to the general category2. However, There is less Probability for you to get admission in NIT admission and you have a chance to get CSE admission from colleges like IIIT Pune, IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Dharwad, IIIT Kurnool.
