Although, there is no neutral public ranking of Law colleges but according to few of the private ranking DES is ranked amongst top 20 colleges. As far as placements are concerned, DES has good placement record, but more than the College I would say it would largely depend on your own capabilities, performance on the programme and how you use the knowledge earned at the time of job interviews.
Although, both the institute are decent but as far as Law colleges are concerned DES Law College has a better standing in the market.

Hi Raj,
Electronic media is one of the strongest source of Media modes and involves a lot of expertise in it. After completing your bachelors, you can think of taking up a Masters in this field only or else look for the MBA in fields like Marketing, Multimedia courses etc.
Although getting a MBA in Electronic Media will be rare to find, but you can certainly look for some institutes offering MBA in Media Management.

Frankly speaking, Career change is very tough decision and for a career change it is very important that you either earn a regular degree in the field you want to move in or you have a past experience in the same field. Now, as you have 3 years of experience in BPO and you want to move in retail, it is going to be a task and short term degrees will not be of much help. The best option would have been a full time MBA programme through a decent University either in Marketing or Retail or Operations, but as you have already started your MBA I would say take Marketing or retail as a specialization. In the begning you may have to struggle to get the kind of profile you are looking for as your degree is a distance degree but I would suggest not to give up and if you are not able to find high profile take up your first job at a little lower designation & salary structure. Once you get a job you can with your hard work & perseverance achieve success in it.

Here i can just speak of Educomp JRE because i am currently a student at the Educomp MBA. Its good that you have chosen marketing because with India's economy growing at 9% plus there are a lot of opportunities and jobs created in Marketing and market research.
For deciding the best college for marketing you should always try to visit the college to see and rate the college on the following criterion.
1. The Brand name behind college.
2. The academicians and the faculty in general
3. The Placements in general
I have secured my summer placements with Nomura which a World's leading investment bank and all of our batch was placed last year because the placements team are from the IIM's.
For you to try, a good option could be JRE group of institutions by Educomp. If you have taken MAT/CAT exam, you would be eligible for that.

You should not take any of the informal rankings on Forums very serious specially in the case of colleges which accept MAT score. The reason being that most of the ranking are actually the opinions of the People here who donot do much research.
For deciding the best college under the MAT should always try to visit the college to see and rate the college on the following criterion.
1. The Brand name behind college.
2. The academicians and the faculty in general
3. The Placements in general
The JRE Institute is backed by Educomp(India's largest company) and raffles which is singapore;s leading education provider. The team consists of people from IIM-A so JRE really ranks well on these parameters.
I can only take my example here. I am a student at the Educomp(India's leading educational company) MBA Institute. have secured my summer placements with Nomura which a World's leading investment bank and all of our batch was placed last year because the placements team are from the IIM's
