Getting an engineering program through the correspondence mode is difficult as this involves a lot of practical knowledge and this mainly possible when you are opting for the regular course.
However, you can opt for the B.Tech course from IGNOU and the course is approved by the AICTE as well.

Hi Raman, you have not specified in which subject you want to pursue MS and in which subject you are doing BTech.
To be eligible for MS in RWTH an applicant must have GRE (around 1300+) and TOEFL(100+) or IELTS (6.5).
There are 2 intakes in a yearSep/Oct and MArch/April. The application and admission process takes about 9 months so youneed to plan accordingly. Thedeadline for Sep/Oct intake is in Jan and for March /Aprilintake is in July. Hence, youwill need to make an early application.
Once the University receives your application they may takeabout 3-4 months to inform youof the decision. Not all Univmay intimate you if your application is incomplete, hence it is your duty to ensure thatyou send all the requested documents in one go to avoid anylast minute issues.
If you do not want to apply directly or are apprehensive youtake help from UNI ASSIST. they charge Euro 55 for their service of applying to 2-3 univ.And additional Euro 15 per univ.

Hi Shobhan, Indian students are expected to have good marks in the best of 4 subjects. But this merely does not guarantee admission, and the competition is very tough. To tell you the truth at times even 90% falls short. So you ought to work hard if you have not yet appeared for class 12.
If your profile is good you will be either automatically be considered for scholarship or you can apply for one after you get the offer letter from the University.
