You are going from science to commerce.
Initially, it might take you some time to understand the basics of commerce, but you'll be fine.
Regular college or not, should completely be your decision.
Anyways once you clear your cpt and proceed ahead with CA course, you have to have your training which might clash from your college.
Plus your CA exams might also clash from your college exams, depending on the college where you get admitted.
However, if the doubt in your mind about joining a regular college or not has creeped up due to your decision of going with CA then it's baseless.
You can easily cope up with both graduation and CA together.
Further to inform you, it is suggested that you go for B.Com only. See if you get B.Com honours then its good else regular B.Com is also fine since you have that CA tag alongside.
Also, just for you to think, if at all you wanna go for correspondence graduation, I would suggest have a look at the ignou collaboration with ICAI wherein you have to give less papers to get your B.Com honors degree.
Think wisely, decide accordingly.

There's no problem in pursuing PGDM in marketing through distance and holds the same amount of scope. MBA in marketing offers a lot of job profiles to choose from. Graduates can consider job profiles as marketing executive, market research analyst ,brand manager, relationship manager, product manager, client servicing, business development manager, etc. which can, with experience grow into more responsible roles within an organizations.
So as we see, a degree in MBA is a beginning to many possibilities and a specialization in marketing differentiates you from a good marketer, thereby helping you become a great marketer. A specialization in marketing is what you need- after all, you want yourself accepted in this challenging, fascinating and fast changing world.

Merchant Navy is different from the navy in the sense that it offers commercial services, as opposed to the navy, which is largely involved in the defence of a nation.
Merchant Navy is the backbone of international trade, carrying cargo all over the world. The merchant ships employ a huge number of workers to carry and deliver goods from one country to another. Without the merchant navy, much of the import-export business would come to a grinding halt!
A career in the merchant navy is considered a glamorous job, especially by the people who have been bitten by the travel bug. It offers an opportunity to visit new and exotic places all around the globe. Merchant Navy career is not only monetarily rewarding but also satisfying and a quite challenging.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for joining merchant navy is finishing class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Candidates have to be unmarried Indian citizens (male or female).
Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.
Admission is through an entrance followed by a screening test and a main written examination.
After clearing the test, there is an interview and a medical test.
You also need to complete a ship-training course prior to the employment. The course is generally short-term where the candidates are taught basic security concerns of voyaging.
There are some private institutes, which offer training for merchant navy as well. These institutes prepare students for jobs such as deck cadets and marine engineering jobs.
