Generally in SSC, and banking exam they ask general studies and general knowledge in which major part is history and social science things so if you want to know which course is good for these exams then B.A. is good option for you.

Yes, you are eligible to get a seat at any of the 13 Sinhgad colleges of your choice. But you might have to wait for the 2nd list for colleges like SIOM and Sinhgad Erandwane. The grant and non-grant are regarding the course. The course which is aided by the goverment is called grant and the course which is done privately one is a non-grant course.
B.Com is a grant course.
