Hello Saksham,
No, it is not compulsory to include Maths in BFS (best four subjects) for B.Com (H), but one should have Maths either as additional subject (6th) or optional subject (5th). Yes, passing in class 6th or additional subject is necessary. 33 are the passing marks. If you are a Science student, you should have either of the core Commerce subjects - Maths and Economics for B.Com (H). For Economics, you should have Maths till class 12th, but it is not necessary to include it in BFS. And yes, Economics definitely should be included in BFS for Economics (H) else you will face deduction.

There is a lot of confusion about this. ICFAI University Tripura, Sikkim are listed as recognised private universities on UGC websites but there are a few notifications about territorial jurisdiction of these degrees offer which says that any private university can't offer degrees through franchise or off campus mode which are located out of the state where university is located. For eg. ICFAI Tripura is listed as recognised on UGC deb for offering distance learning programmes but it can't offer degree from learning center located in Maharashtra.

Well, CUSAT is a government college so it has a bit of edge over Heritage's private ownership, however, if you got the main campus of CUSAT then only its worth taking, otherwise, HIT-Kolkata is a better option.

Firstly, you can appear for JEE Mains exam on the basis of your Diploma also.
