In India, to pursue a three-year LL.B. Course, the minimum educational qualification required is a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 45% to 50% aggregate marks, depending on the university or institution. Therefore, if you have scored 46% in your graduation, you may be eligible for admission to an LL.B. Programme at some universities or colleges, depending on their admission criteria. However, it is important to note that to practice as a lawyer in India, you need to be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India (BCI). The BCI has specific rules and regulations regarding eligibility for enrollment, which includes minimum educational qualifications and marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Generally, the BCI requires a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in LL.B. To be eligible for enrollment as an advocate. Therefore, even if you complete your LL.B. Programme, you may not be eligible to enroll as an advocate with the BCI if you do not meet their eligibility criteria. However, you can still pursue a career in the legal field in various other roles, such as legal advisors, legal executives, or paralegals, which do not require enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
