So, coming to the point directly, I will say that if you are fresher and not in a good position in a career it would be a total waste.
Distance Education is only good for people who are already working and are in good position in a company, at this point they can spend little to improve their education qualification for the sake of just degree they are never judged on Distance MBA because work experience speak for them.
A better option that many professionals take is executive MBA where you attend university and do classroom study and work on so

Most of the graphic design these days are digitalized. You need to have a proper understanding of pixels, colors, patterns, algorithms, etc.
You can learn these separately taking any subject. But if you are sure if want to do graphic designing, this comes as a very niche segment in computer design.
