I think the answer should be yes.
Before you think that I am some brat complaining about the reservation system, let me tell you I also belong to a reserved category.
But when I see students with percentile as low as 50 getting into IIMs it hurts me too. I think, it is okay to lower the eligibility bar to some extent, but not so much that it will degrade the quality of the college.
For top IIMs, maybe a percentile between 90-95 would be justified for reserved categories, but below that would be a bit compromising seeing that many students work really hard to get into top IIMs.
So, if seats are remaining and no more reserved candidates are above 90 percentile, the seats should pass to general students.
So, according to lowering the bar for reserved students to some extent is okay but not so much that it keeps deserving students away from their dream institute.

Reservation has widely been a debated issue in our country since a long time. A person should not focus on reservations, instead you should focus on your preparation strategy of CAT. Anyone who prepares well enough has the potential to crack the Exam.
It's not our call to decide on deserving or non-deserving candidates, it all depends upon the interview panel which takes the final interview.

Many of the local private MBA colleges are always looking for making extra bucks and what is better than giving backdoor admissions to students with rich parents. Such colleges profit highly from this and don't want to stop it. In some cases it is due to pressure from powerful people. Let's say there is some industrialist who gives regular donations of large amounts and one day he asks them to give his son admission there. If they deny it, they will be losing all the future donations from that guy. So they comply. In other scenarios the student may be in relation to some political leader or the committee of the college. The truth is most of these colleges don't try to stop backdoor entries. The more such entries the more profit for them.

Placement opportunity is always open to potential students and doing BBA from here is a good option. Although this college doesn't have any international connection but if you have abilities then you can make your own way. The complete college is departmentalized providing 6 Under-Graduate courses and 2 Post-Graduation courses.
This is one of the reasons that there is no college fest, but department fests only. ASB, Noida is among top BBA colleges in India. It offers 3 years regular BBA degree. They have well experienced faculty and offers many very value added Diploma (Most important for Self-Development of Student) which is not offered by any other college. Hence it is worth to apply for direct admission in BBA in top BBA colleges in India like ASB, Noida. Faculties are excellent. Here professors are experienced, cooperative, have friendly behavior and most importantly you don't have to be their chamcha to gain internal marks.
Companies do come here. Offered a big chunk of package (currently that was 12 LPA), but it totally depends on your performance. Students are generally able to grab the package of 6-7 LPA (especially in marketing). But if you have potential then you can fetch a satisfactory package for yourself. Last but not the least, course structure and student welfare is good (and still they are working on it). Although it is newborn institutions but still have some reputations among corporate market. Schedule is completely hectic.

As per my knowledge placement opportunities in Loyola College is good. As they provide the package of around 3 lacs min to 7 lacs max with average salary of around 4 lacs. The colleges provide you with top 3 big firms i.e. E&Y, KPMG, Delloite and many other companies like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, RBS, Citi Bank, etc. and the candidate who participate in this campus placement placed in one of this companies. So if you are hoping up for doing your BBA from this college it is the good decision you can take up off. Many companies which visit to this campus are from South India. So doing BBA from this college provide u job opportunity in South India. In Bangalore you should give first preference to Christ University for BBA, if not you can consider Alliance University. There are many Bangalore University affiliated colleges, also Mount Carmel (only for girls) (Autonomous), St Josephs, Kristu Jayanti, Presidency, etc. But still Alliance is on the path of success and gaining market value. This is the best university in India for BBA, the teachers are so good that you would learn everything in three years and there is no need to do MBA too, until you need an additional certificate. I accept that the college is located in a village, but Anekal is slowly developing. The environment around the college is so good, that you should not have a second thought of joining here.
