There are some Iims who prefer taking students who have work experience. But if I talk about baby Iims they may take you without experience as well. Make sure you score 95+ percentile. Prepare well for GD and PI. They should feel that you have knowledge and you are extraordinary.

Thapar is a great institute, along with being a reputed institute it is also a private body. This helps a lot as the placement cells are really active in those colleges. Being from CSE branch is icing on the cake. If you work hard enough and are capable, most of the big companies visit the campus so you can get a handsome package for you. The average package may be as low as 5-6 or even 7 lacs but you can grab great offers of more than 10 even 15 lacs per annum.

Hi Surat Biswal,
You can study NCERT book for 11th and 12th I guess that will be good enough to crack not just Utkal but other university entrance test also. You can go through the important topics:
Solid State, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry, General Principles and Processes of Isolation of Elements and P Block Elements. Also, practise the chemical equations and basic numericals
That should be good enough.
