Firstly, I am not clear with your question as there are many exams being held for engineering courses. Like JEE Mains and Advanced, SET, VITEEE, BITSAT, IISER, etc. So, kindly verify the exam. Still, I am stating the cut offs for the most important ones i.e., JEE Mains:
General-100
OBC-NCL-70
SC-53
ST-48
This may vary year to year. But, for securing admission in NITs the score required is a bit higher than the cut offs, i.e. around 150+ and for IITs you need to do well in JEE Advanced.
