Hi,
Marine biologists study organisms that live in an ocean or a sea environment.
Entry-level jobs require at least a bachelor's degree in biology. A master's degree can equip one to attain higher-paying consulting, teaching, or research jobs.
A marine biology PhD is needed for most marine biology-specific careers in independent research and college-level teaching. Employers include government agencies, marine environmental organizations, aquariums, labs, research institutions, and schools.
