Probably you are investing last time a huge amount for a life time career not just a degree with uncertain job profile. Here are some of the parameters to choose that how to judge an average B-School
1) Try to avoid trust in morphed media ranking (not all media), sometime it happens to promote the college brand name in students mind.
2) don't run or get lured by the call of 100 prcnt placement. If you are in bulk hire and fire offers are offered. It does not make any sense to you.
3) don't run behind INR 9.6 Lacs CTC per annum. Always check in hand salary or take home salary.
4) Check the job profile and not the brand name.

There are lot of online test to know your aptitude. If you are not able to find what you really want to do, go through this kind of tests. Based on how you answer and what all questions you attend, your aptitude can be find out. Try it out. Another thing you can do is simple mind mapping. Depends on the stream you choose and networking you make. The average placement is 6.5-7 lakhs PA. Do you think it would be worth investing 2 years of time for that package or maximum it may go upto 8-9 lakhs PA for people with work experience. Join if you think it's worth it.

Well, both fields have different but good career scope. M.Sc can provide you a way to research or lectureship career, study about the science, where MBA will help you to increase your knowledge deeper.
If you want to make career in science & science is your passion, then definitely, you should go for M.Sc.
But, if you to make career in business, then I will personally suggest you that don't pursue M.Sc just do MBA & make career in that.
