No, it is not possible to get admission in DTU with this score, especially if you are an outsider. They have only 15 % reserve seats. So you should improve your marks if you want to get admission there otherwise you can go for NITS.

You should go for Diploma in medical laboratory technology. The course is an allied health/paramedical course that is concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases through laboratory tests. This will help in both the purposes you mentioned.
