Hi, Earth is a huge magnet and attracts charges particles like any other magnet.When there is a collision of these charges particles in the earth's magnetic field . especially in the ionosphere, then there is a display of light (emission of photons) especially during the nights. Although, most of the good colleges would ask for high percentage, I would suggest you to look at some Private Institutes which may accept you with this score, Institutes like Sharda University may accept you with low percentage. I would also like to know whether you have appeared for GATE Examination or not.
