You can choose any stream of your interest because to write UPSC exams, you have to be a graduate in any course. UPSC uptakes candidates from any course. You can choose your stream according to the optional subjects also. The list of optional subjects are:

You can easily apply for this course as the eligibility criteria is to passed in 12th class from a recognized board and these subjects are mandatory - physics, chemistry and mathematics.
Other eligibility criteria
Candidate who have passed diploma are also eligible for the course.
Admission Process
Interested candidates can directly apply to the college and admission will be done on the basis of first come first serve basis.

Hi!
Talking about coaching, it just depends on you. It is never a compulsion. I cracked NIFT without any coaching, more ver I prepared for NIFT in 2 months.
And, its obvious that you need to solve previous years paper as well as sample papers.
You need to start topic wise as per the syllabus.
One of the suggestion for the books is ARIHANT if you prefer not to go for coaching.

First of all, you need to decide which country you want to opt for an MBA abroad. Say, for example, if you want to opt USA, UK, you should start preparing for IELTS/TOEFL, GMAT, etc. Basically, university require 1st / 2:1 or 2:2 (Grade) Graduation degree with GMAT Score & Some work Experience in respective field. They include it in best four but deduct 2.5% from the best four subjects' percentage, as the rule says that if the best four subjects include any other subject than maths, they deduct 2.5% from overall.
