For Assam CEE, the cut-off for SC is 94-90.
For JEE Mains, the cut-off is 60. So, these are the cut-off marks you need to score to get a reputed engineering college. Whereas, if you just want admission in any college, you must fulfil the criteria of the colleges which you are going to apply.

Hello,
Firstly, congrats to you for this descent score. Considering the previous year's cut-off you may not be deemed eligible for the IIIT-Hyderabad. But surely you will get good NITs. You can try for that.
All the best.
Thank you.

Hello Vatsal, Its really a matter of perspective. These two courses deal in different fields and hence comparison of contents of course should not be done. But on the other hand if one compares opportunities for job then AME is far superior to aeronautical engineering. This is so since passenger and cargo traffic is increasing every year. Thus airlines are buying more aeroplanes. This in turn has increased the requirement of trained professionals of AME.
