Yes, of course, but you have to prepare from the syllabus of aerospace engineering only. The B.Tech syllabus of aerospace engineering will be given in the test of GATE exam. You can join the coaching since you are shifting the branch which may lead to face some difficulty. Don't worry focus, work hard and study well. You will definitely get the college through GATE.

Board marks are nothing to do with VIT admission but you have to eligible for it atleast 60% in physics, chemistry, maths in intermediate. Yes you will get your desired branch but that to in a higher category (I. e you have to pay more fees to take the admission). Hope this helps.
