Agriculture is a great option. In fact, you can pursue B.Tech in agriculture that will provide you with good job opportunities as well. You will have to appear for ICAR exam to get admission in one of the reputed colleges for B.Tech in agriculture.
B.Sc in agriculture, on the other side, is again attracting students these days, but the career options are limited after that. So, the choice is all yours.
Good luck.

Every institution that confers a PH. D in English literature will have the "scope" of their program and its options. These vary greatly from area of emphasis to area of emphasis and from one institution to another.
Decide what you are interested in learning and becoming an expert in and then find the doctoral program that allows you to pursue your interests.
