Social work is one of the academic disciplines under the arts stream. Social work mainly encompasses areas such as community development, social welfare, social justice and public administration.
Basic Eligibility:
A graduate in any discipline can join for the Masters degree course in Social work (M.S.W./ M.A) which is of 2 year duration.
But students with a background in social work, psychology, social science, sociology or any other related fields will get preference.
Specialization in MSW includes Human resource management, Criminology and correctional administration, medical and psychiatric social work, family and child welfare, rural and urban community development, and schools social work. A masters degree in Social work is necessary for positions in the mental health field and general supervisory positions.
You can also pursue BCA after having arts in 12th std.

There are lots of career opportunities in MFM. It is one of the top career options for students in India. A student after completing his/her course in finance can initially join as a trainee or as a finance manager. A finance manager can also seek employment in various sectors such as in government and private sectors, public accounting firms, markets research, budget planning, corporations and consultancies.

Harshada, fine take a relook at your career and move to something else like design for instance. If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in UI Design, Graphic Design, Storyboarding, Animation Design, Game Design, 3D Modelling, Texturing and Lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously).
