The salaries of Pilots are similar all over the aviation market, it differs only on the basis of allowances that are paid to the pilots. Any FO can expect initial salary of around Rs. 1.3-2.0 lacs per month. The flying allowances range between Rs. 1700-2400 per hour. Layover allowances are paid at the rate of $18-24 per day. So for any FO who flies around 60-70 hours per month the salary ranges between Rs. 2.0-3.0 lacs per month. For captains the salary almost doubles i.e. Rs. 4.0-7.0 lacs per month, initially. This range includes almost all the salary packages offered by either schedules operators or non-scheduled operators.

I am not pursuing my B.Tech course from this college but I have been in touch with a senior and according to him the college is having an average placement of 30-35% for BCA and IT students. But the problem is that the packages which are offered by the companies are less. Infotech, Wipro, TCS and some more IT companies had visited the campus to offer the job.

If you have interest in coding, go for IGDTU, I am not sure about its placements.
Otherwise, DTU EE is also a great option, some very big companies come to DTU for EE. Even if you don't find EE interesting, you can still sit for a large no. of electronics, software or non-tech companies, but you would have to study these on your own, which is not that difficult if you have interest. One drawback of DTU EE is that very regular classes take place for this branch, so if you want to study something on your own, you only get weekends for that.
