Ms.Sneha, I feel based on the applications received by an MBA Institution, screening from the maximum score secured by an applicant is selected. The best way is to contact the Institution itelself where you apply. Most of the MBA Institutions are very flexiable in their selection procedure once a candidate has qualified CAT or MAT.

why u want to do this course from correspondence.u can easily do this course with regular 1-2 hour classes in 2-3 months.
it will give u more clarity in course as it is a practicle thing.

Although the most obvious solution to this problem is to immediately contact the Institute/ University and try to apply for the papers in which you have got arrears, yet it will depend on the particular institution.
As for the material is concerned, that you may get from any local bookshop or you may refer to your curriculum directly.
