The AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) Exam is conducted by the Indian Air Force twice in a year for the recruitment of candidates in Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) and Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches.

IAF also recruits candidates for the grant of PC/SSC for NCC Special Entry Scheme (Flying Branch) and for Meteorological Entry. It is one of the most coveted jobs in Indian Air Force and a dream job for millions of aspirants across India.
AFCAT Exam consists of three stages: Written Examination, AFSB and Interview round.

To be eligible for the CSIR-NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test) exam, candidates must meet specific age limit, educational qualification, and nationality requirements. The eligibility criteria for CSIR-NET 2023 are as follows:

1. Age Limit: The upper age limit for applying for the award of JRF is 28 years. There is no maximum age prescribed by the NTA, but candidates with a minimum of 28 years can apply, and there are age relaxations based on the categories (e.g., 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
2. Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess an M.Sc., Integrated BS-MS, BS-4 years, BE, B.Tech, B.Pharma, or MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
3. Nationality: Candidates must hold Indian nationality. Only Indian nationals can appear for the CSIR-NET exam
4. Course or Result Awaited: Candidates who have completed their M.Sc. or equivalent degree and are awaiting results can also apply for CSIR-NET 2023, provided they achieve the required scores within two years
5. Attempts: There is no limit on the number of attempts for the CSIR-NET exam

After the final selection for a Ph.D. programme at Lovely Professional University (LPU), candidates must promptly complete the formal admission procedure.
