The CAT and CMAT cut off is expected to be around 99.92 percentile. As of last year, the procedure was that you would have to enrol and appear for CET. Then you could use any exam score - MAT, XAT,CAT, CMAT, CET as you wished but giving the CET was mandatory. After this you will have to fill a form for your college of preference and the best score will be considered and college will be allotted centrally by DTE.

Hi Rajat, as a B.Com grad. you can definitely go for MBA in aviation. Aviation is one of the most sought courses these days among the youth. As our nation is currently focusing on modernization of the aviation industry which involves construction of new airports and modernization of existing ones, airport connectivity infrastructure development etc. This upgradation indicates the growing potential of this domain. With a huge no. of new aircrafts being added and services being made available through a wider network, the employment opportunities also rise and so does the need for aviation/aerospace professionals. Hi,
Good performance in CAT does not help clear one roadblock in your management education path, but doesn't guarantee a call from the best school. For that to happen, your application and persona should match the requirements of specific B-schools. If I talk about IIM -A they give 70% weightage to CAT score and remaining 30% to your application rating score.
The ranking and final selection is based on a diverse set of attributes which include overall performance in CAT/GMAT and also performance in individual sections, performance in personal interview, academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular achivements, work experiance etc.

Hi Samikshya,
To get admission into top B-schools you need to have atleast more than 60% in your gradation and more than 90 percentile in the MBA entrance exam. Internship and placements are based on your MBA score/performance in all the semester exams. Some companies do consider your graduation marks also.

Hi Yeri,
Usually migration is permitted on a case to case basis within the university itself in the second year. However, migration across institutes after the second year will not be permitted. However, do check with your current college on the guidelines.
