Academics are generally the basis of selection in prospects of job but exception are always there.Hospitality industry is one such exception, here the practical knowledge & command over your field matters more than the percentile.
However at times when all things work out well and a selection is to be made amongst two equally performing employes or prospective employes than there percentile in academics just might be taken into consideration.

There no specific accreditation that is compulsory in the hospitality field however the general accreditation requirements should be there with the institute that you select i.e.
-In case of university - UGC approved
-NAAC accreditation is an advantage
- In case of distance learning, DEC approval etc
