Astrobiology is the study of the origin, evolution, distribution, and future of life in the universe: extraterrestrial life and life on Earth. This interdisciplinary field encompasses the search for habitable environments in our Solar System and habitable planets outside our Solar System, the search for evidence of prebiotic chemistry, laboratory and field research into the origins and early evolution of life on Earth, and studies of the potential for life to adapt to challenges on Earth and in outer space. Astrobiology addresses the question of whether life exists beyond Earth, and how humans can detect it if it does.
If you are interested to become a Astrobiologist, then for this you have to get a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Astronomy, Space Science, Chemistry or any other appropriate subject from an accredited college or university. Afterwards, you will have to study Astrobiology in post graduation from an abroad university as there are no institute in India which offer degree courses or research in this area.

BA English is a fairly flexible course and various diverse careers are available such as-
1. Management careers - Marketing, Human Resources etc
2. Hospitality, Event Management, Public Relations, Corporate Communications
3. Media careers like Advertising, Journalism and Film Making
4. Academic careers like Teaching and Research and particularly Training. English Language Training is a big and growing sector in India with jobs freelance and full-time options as an English language trainer or a voice and accent trainer.
5. You could also do an MA or a B.Ed, or MBA or take up some of the Professional courses.
6. You have options of doing an MBA if management and business is your interest or you could do an M.A in English if English is your interest.
7. Studying a foreign language full time can be an excellent career option. Getting an advanced degree (Master's / PhD ) in studying foreign languages can have an exciting value proposition.
