Hi Rahul, Common Aptitude Test ( CAT ) exam put forward strict qualification criteria as it is one of the most sought after exams for admission to MBA programs in premium business schools in India.
To apply for CAT, one must be graduate from an approved college and have a score of atleast 50 percent in final exams.
To prepare for CAT exam you may start working on such points-
*To score well, you need to know what sections the test paper consists of. CAT consists of Quantitative Ability , Verbal Ability and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.
*Plan your preparation after knowing your strengths and weaknesses.
*Read newspapers, business dailies and magazines as this exercise will help you to understand different topics and increase your hold over English, general knowledge and various other topics.
*One must be organized and follow a time-table.
* When you get a grip over the basic syllabus of the CAT exam, you must start taking regular mock tests to know your preparation status which will help you to analyse your performance.

You should develop the habit of reading national and local news and this will certainly be useful to improve your vocabulary and reading skills.
You should collect the weeklies on current affairs as this may help you to update your general awareness.
You should spend at least three or four hours every day to study the subjects.
The essential factor that you must do initially is to figure out a study plan which you should follow accurately and that will definitely help you to achieve your goals. The plan should be made in such a way that it is stress less and more effective. You should be able to follow these at all times of preparation.

GMAT, is a test which need to be taken by students who wish to pursue MBA form abroad.
GMAT scores along with good academic records are one of the important eligibility criteria to get admission in MBA program.
It is always advisable to prepare well for this test so that you can get admission in the university of your choice,to prepare for this test you can join some good coaching institutes which offers quality GMAT preparation classes.
It is always advisable to take GMAT test atleast 9-10 months in advance of your planned admission intake.
Please remember all the good universities abroad requires atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation for admission in their MBA program.
