Personally I believe MAT lacks most of the best colleges though it has one of the largest chunks of B-schools accepting it's score. Still I will suggest to go with following colleges ( list not in any serial order):

Monica, Like most of the people, I could tell you that XYZ is one of the best and go read online about it. I could tell you to search the youtube for 'best animation faculty' or 'best animation institute'. However these are only some of the methods of shortlisting. There is no such authentic one list of institutes that i can give you. All institute branches have same curriculum, like all states in India follow the same constitution. By same comparison all state progress differently and after a certain time the gap becomes huge. You could do well to create a list of places you may want to learn at, whether they are in your city or not. Then go to their websites and research about them, and even call them and talk to them. Try their website for more details. Typically go for a school which offers all the information including faculty on their website. Now shortlist some you want to visit. Do not hesitate to travel - this is about your life and career. After visiting those take a decision for yourself. Even if you have to travel to timbuctoo or chandigarh for that matter, it is important for your life, so do it. Sanyam, There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. You can be a story writer who writes for live and animated screens or even roll the story into a video/ pc game. you can be a script writer who would stop at nothing to give wonderful scene setups to bring the story to life. you could be an artist who designs characters or who storyboards the film for live or animated performance. you can also double up as a voice over artist who gives his/ her voice to the characters or dub for movie stars, or even be a radio star. you can alternatively look at web for a web of careers in web design, online marketing, search engine optimization, content writing, social media promoting. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world & hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers. This the best time to start preparing for CAT 15. Since you are in your 2nd year ( or 4th semester ), you can start preparing for CAT either by taking a coaching or by self-study. FMS Delhi accepts CAT percentile/score only for consideration of your candidature for the further rounds of evaluation. If you clear minimum cut off percentile ( which was 98.2 last year), then you will be called for GDPI rounds. And after that round, final list of students are given admission to FMS Delhi. Your graduation stream does not matter, whether it is B.Com or B.Tech, you are eligible for applying at FMS Delhi, if you score above 50% in your graduation. Hope this helps. All the best.

Milan, I am not sure how good you are with maths and programming. If you are, then you must pick up Programming and take a language whether PHP/ HTML5 (web dev), .Net (for software dev) Java/ Android (for apps) or C#/ Unity (for games). However like i mentioned, you must be good with programming to move ahead in this area since you have to compete with MCAs and BTech(CS) applicants. So choose your internship/ industrial training very carefully. Do not just go for the cheapest to save money. See the IT company's credentials on the net. for example if someone provide LIVE PROJECTS are they there near the TOP on PORTALS like JUSTDIAL? Or if the company is registered with STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) - all good IT companies are registered with STPI. If a company spends money to market themselves to customers, only then they are able to get LIVE PROJECTS. Also, if you are an average programmer, and if you you're better with creative work, then you can head for web design or even vfx/ animation since there is a huge requirement coming up in that domain. Every institute has its own course specific eligibility criteria for admission, in order to know the exact eligibility criteria it would be always advisable to browse through the institute's website you wish to apply. Institutes you have mentioned are good colleges.
