The Bachelor of Computer Information Systems (abbreviated B.Sc. CIS) is an undergraduate or Bachelor's degree that focuses on practical applications of technology to support organizations while adding value to their offerings. In order to apply technology effectively in this manner, a broad range of subjects are covered, such as communications, business, networking, software design, and mathematics. This degree encompasses the entirety of the Computing field and therefore is very useful when applying to computing positions of various sectors. I did B.Com from Lovely Professional University and my experience at LPU was amazing, LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. The programme aims to build in students competent business acumen through advanced study of general subjects such as Organizational Behavior and Cost Accountancy, later allowing them to specialize in a chosen area. The curriculum involves intensive study, culminating with the completion of a research-based dissertation. The course may also include Practical/ workshops, technical and entrepreneurial projects as well as courses with exposure to cutting edge technologies. The programme has been designed to offer to eligible candidates specialisation in a wide range of managerial skills, while at the same time building competence in a particular area of business. One of the principle objectives of the course is to prepare students for successfully operating in and contributing to the modern world of business, as also for pursuing advanced research in the discipline. The courses curriculum integrates theoretical and practical components of study. LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. Apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training.
