There is no seperate cadre for IT professionals in Central or State Governments. Computer Science is not a subject in Indian Engineering Services examination. However, IT professionals can get jobs in Government entities such as NIC, NITS, CDAC etc.

Hello,
No, BIT-Mesra fills its seat via JEE Mains not via JCECE. People often get confused between BIT Mesra and BIT-Sindri, they are different colleges. One is Birla Institute of Technology-Mesra and other is Birsa Institute of Technology-Sindri.

As a student of IIIT Allahabad I am aware of the fact that IIIT A has great placement statistics and is a name to reckon with. I have no direct comparison of the placement statistics of the two. I can surely say this that IIIT A is a great institute and should surely be kept as one of the options.

The lecture timings are 12 to 6.30 everyday. Each lecture is of 3 hours. During exams or extra lectures the time goes from 12 to 8.30 pm also. Generally Monday is a holiday for students and lectures are conducted on Saturday and Sunday also. Student life is good in ADMI as there are good visiting and in house faculties who help students throughout the course.
The timetable of first year first semester would not be ready now. But in 1st year you will have 8 subjects and its lectures will be conducted on Tue,Wed,Thus,Fri( from 12.00 pm to 6.30 pm) also on Sundays( from 9am to 3.30pm).

Timings are basically from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and they can also arrange lectures on Sunday.

Hii Riddhi, you will have classes first on all the subjects and from that syllabus only they will take out questions for the quiz. Actually it will be an online test where you will be given around 20 mins and 40-50 multiple choice questions. they will be very basic question of all subjects.
